This Weeks Daily Blog

Right away we began the week with two tests, one in English on the structure of a story and the other in Science on the classifications of matter. After letting our clay motels dry up a little, we started to shape and smooth the surfaces of the clay.  A lot of people finished the structures and then started adding designs and making tops for them.

Last weeks Blog

Last week we learned how to classify matter. We had multiple stations were we needed to decide weather things were atoms, elements, mixtures, or compounds. Once we finished the labs, we created crystals with all different types of solution. After the crystals were in their process we went to art to make clay motels to represent our crystals.

Personal Blog

This week was very busy he had a couple of projects to finish and other assignments. On Thursday we were able to go on a field trip in Mayfair to find information on their products which well be able to us as a primary source. Overall we had a pretty busy week and needed to get a lot done.

Product Testing

The purpose of the product test was to find what cologne more people were attracted to.

weekly blog-Big Project

This week was mostly based on our big project. We needed to learn how to working effectively by ourselves and with our partner. We had to rely on the group members to do their part and put it all together.

Job marketing

From the presentation I think that I learned how important  the skills we are learning now are used in everyday life. This showed me a few of possible the IT jobs that are out there with a college education. It cleared up some of the jobs that I could be interested in after high school. For 2015 high school and college graduates an emphasis will be placed on learning traits and technology for future jobs.

Measuring

Accuracy is the closest thing to the real value. Precision is multiple things that are repeatedly close.  When measuring you need to be able to be accurate and precise. To be as accurate as you can you need to use significant figures. One way to show this is using decimals.

iPad VS Laptop in the Academy

It's my opinion that a laptop is more suitable for this academy. Using an iPad has many limitations compared to a laptop. For example, processing power, applications supported by the iPad, and memory just to name a few. In this academy we're dealing with technology based projects and i think a laptop is more reliable and efficient for this class.

Ropes course- Sebatian

I did the ropes course because i wanted to try something new. While we were up on the wooden plank we had to trust the the people in our groups. To me i think that was the purpose of doing the ropes course because trust and reliance is needed when your working with people in real life.

Design a room

 In my opinion I think were doing this to learn how to work in small groups and colaborate. Working in small groups alows us to share ideas but also to learn how to come to an agreement on certain aspects. For this project we had think of the most creative and efficient way of learning and making this room stand out from all the other classes. When we presented our ideas there were some things we like on one persons project and some we liked on others. In the end i think the point of this was to be able to work quick and accoplish the room design with a finshed project we all agreed with.
